The Ungovernable

Staged as a performative installation, the work will unfold over a three-hour period, with the artist installing materials, moving objects through the building, setting up and passing around speakers, occupying and speaking within different rooms – to give narrative to particular histories and cultural tactics of survival. Through such a strategy, the work takes it cues from the figures of the disobedient, the restless and the ungovernable: that which disorders to give way to the not-yet. As such, the work is a space in the making, a slow movement that invites listening as a means of constituting open bodies.
