Areas of research interest include the history and theory of social practices and sound art; sound culture, listening and subjectivity; voice, paralinguistic behavior and the oral imaginary; contemporary anti-institutional politics, media infrastructures, and questions of collectivity (the commons); aesthetics and politics of invisibility (haunting, immateriality, counter-politics); emergent forms of citizen practices.
